Any Montrealer who knows a thing or two about retail therapy knows that the place to unleash your inner shopaholic is on Saint Catherine Street. With everything from women’s fashions and men’s fashions to sports equipment and furniture stores, there’s nothing you can’t buy on Saint Catherine Street.

Here are some of the reasons why you’ll find us there almost every week:

It is home to every store you can imagine

Saint Catherine Street is the Mecca of shopping when it comes to Montreal. With several kilometres of prime retail locations, Saint Catherine is the best place to go whether you want to admire luxury fashions through the window or just want to conquer some serious sales.

You can keep warm in the winter thanks to the underground malls

Saint Catherine Street is the gateway to the underground shopping world of Montreal. With Complexe Les Ailes, Centre Eaton, and Place Montreal Trust feeding into one another, this is by far the best place to go shopping in the depths of winter.

You can relax at the pedestrian mall by Place des Arts

If you decide to work your way west to east, then you can end your shopping trip at Place des Arts. The pedestrian area of Place des Arts is the perfect place to relax at one of the outdoor terrasses or spend some time on the musical chairs.

Grab a big glass of wine on Crescent

By starting your shopping trip around Rue de Bleury, you can finish up on Rue Crescent. This street is one of Montreal’s hottest nightlife strips and is a great option if you’re looking to unwind with a glass of wine in hand. Nothing cures exhaustion like a glass of pinot right?

You can stay energized during a shopping spree thanks to Starbucks

Saint Catherine Street is Starbucks central. If you’re looking for a caffeine kick mid-shopping, you won’t have to go far. Between the street front locations and the underground malls, there are ridiculous amounts of Starbucks cafes on Saint Catherine.

You will always find the size you need

The beauty of Saint Catherine Street is that it’s so commercial, that many of your favourite stores have duplicates. For example, you can find more than one Forever 21, H&M, La Vie en Rose, Aldo, and Spring (to name a few). So if one store just isn’t suiting your needs, you can walk a few blocks and check out the other. Talk about convenience!
