Get your dancing shoes on.

Back for its 15th year, the POP Montreal International Music Festival is happening from September 21st until September 26th.

Launched in 2002, the POP Montreal International Music Festival is a not-for-profit cultural event celebrating independence in the arts.

According to the website, the festival’s goal is to deliver “a bold cross-section of art forms and events,” and in that vein, the festival includes concerts, symposium discussions, visual art exhibitions, fashion shows, film screenings, and some raging parties.

2016 headliners include John Cale, the founding member of the Velvet Underground, composer and pianist Annette Peacock, and Canadian singer-songwriter, Hayden.

This super cool music festival reflects Montreal’s underground arts scene, so you can expect some pretty hip music courtesy of the 400+ artists performing in Montreal in the span of five days.
