How much do you love poutine?

Everyone knows that Montrealers love poutine. But typically, we tend to spend between $5 and $15 on a poutine…not $70. That being said, if an extraordinary looking poutine came along, we may just have to stretch our budget.

With the introduction of Le Gourmet Burger’s Fully Loaded Mega Poutine, the ante was upped.

This poutine is not only totally gourmet, but it comes at the whopping price of $70.

$70 for a poutine? How is that possible? Before you write it off completely, let us describe what’s in this $70 pile of fries and cheese.

Le Gourmet Burger’s Fully Loaded Mega Poutine is made with the usual (fries, gravy, and cheese curds) but in addition, it’s topped with caramelized onions, beef, bison, chicken, foie gras, truffle oil, truffle mayo, fried eggs, sautéed mushrooms, boursin, brie, goat cheese, bacon, jalapeño peppers, BBQ sauce, walnuts, and shallots.

That’s a lot of ingredients.

And there you have it, the most expensive poutine in Montreal. For the price of $70 you can enter poutine heaven (or enter into a coma…whichever comes first).
