The Mile End is getting its own music festival this fall

Buckle up for more music festivals, Montreal.

Last fall, the Mile Ex End Musique Montreal enjoyed its inaugural event when it took over the Van Horne underpass in September.

Hoping to continue that success with the announcement of this year’s festival, Mile Ex End is hoping to become a summertime staple in La Belle Province.

Considering this is only round two, the event has managed to secure a pretty killer lineup.

The festival is split up into four separate dates that focus on three distinct themes: “Musique” on September 1 and 2, “Rigole” on September 8 and “Oktoberfest” on September 15.

The Barr Brothers and Pup will headline day one of Mile Ex End and Eddy De Pretto and Rhye will headline day 2. Julien Lacroix, the Quebecois musical comedian, will headline day 3.

Check out the Mile Ex End website for the full lineup list.

In addition to an impressive lineup of local and international talent, the passes aren’t expensive. Day passes range from $35 for Musique, $20 for Rigole, and only $10 for Oktoberfest. A two-day pass is also available for $60.

The Mile Ex End Musique venue is located under the Rosemont/Van Horne underpass on the corner of Marmier and Henri-Julien Streets.

The festival will have local food trucks and bar kiosks set up to keep festival-goers fed and quenched throughout.
