Toronto-based Wealthsimple claimed the number one spot for Canadian startups this year, with Coinsquare, Element AI, League Inc. and Kira Systems rounding out the top five.
It comes as no surprise that Toronto, one of Canada’s largest startup hubs, leads the pack, with 18 of the start-ups having head offices in the city.
LinkedIn based its list on four pillars in particular, which includes employee growth, jobseeker interest, member engagement with the company and its employees, and how well these startups pulled talent from LinnkedIn’s top companies list.
If you don’t already work for one of these companies, chances are, you’re going to want to soon.
