One of the most anticipated weekends of the year is almost here and people from all over Canada and beyond are flocking to Montreal for the Grand Prix.

Aside from car aficionados and race fans, people come to our fair city to immerse themselves in the non-stop fun that takes over Montreal for 4 days as of June 9th.

Monkland Grand Prix Festival

The annual four-day festival in the Monkland Village kicks off on Thursday June 9th! This festival is the first of two special events hitting the Monkland Village this summer and is bringing something fresh to the F1 Festival scene. On site there will be merchants, restaurants, food trucks, exotic cars, circus acts, a kids zone, DJs, dancing, and many other kinds of entertainment. This is the perfect event for people of all ages!

Mural Festival

Located in the heart of Saint-Laurent boulevard, MURAL’s program offers the public a plethora of art related activities and parties. You will have the opportunity to witness the making of murals in real time, attend exclusive musical events, enjoy outdoor exhibitions, and feast in sublime gastronomy. This is a great way to take a break from the downtown Grand Prix craziness and take in some serious art and patio time.

Rolls Royce Presents Please Don’t Sit at Ecole Privee

Santos F1 Weekend

In true Old Montreal fashion, local hotspot Santos is bringing back their weekend long festivities for the Grand Prix kicking off June 9th. From a block party on their huge terrace to their BBQ jam, there’s something for everyone during the GP weekend here.

The Annual Ritz-Carlton Grand Prix Party

Every year, Montreal Ritz Hotel brings the glamour and luxury to their stylish Palm Court. The atmosphere for this year’s highly anticipated party has been created once again by designer Maddy K. who will bring metallic finishes, light shows, and laser beams to create a dazzling decor. Expect delicious cocktails and champagne with a Moët & Chandon bar, a Belvedere Spritz Bar featuring mixology by Brahm Mauer, food stations by Ritz-Carlton’s Executive Chef, Johnny Port, an exclusive display of the McLaren 675LT, 650S and 570S and much more.

A Day in Monaco

The Tomahawk Group presents a 2-part event at the gorgeous Belvedere Garden on Peel. Kick things off in fashion with the Female Department and music by Cabana & Senudiz from 12 pm to 5 pm. If you still want more just stick around because the serious party starts at 5 pm with music by Thomas H and your host with the most, Tongue.

Red Bull Racing Event

For several years now, New City Gas has hosted the Red Bull Racing event the night before the F1 Grand Prix. This year, the world-renowned DJ Snoopadelic (AKA Bigg Snoop Dogg) will perform as an invited guest on the main stage. Klingande, the French DJ group, will also participate in the festivities and keep the crowd going all night!

Bagatelle F1 Official Brunch Party

A long-time tradition from the South of France, the Bagatelle parties are where the stylish come to indulge, dance, and celebrate Grand Prix weekend to the fullest. The party will take off at 12 pm featuring a delicious brunch, Victoria Secret models, various members from the F1 racing teams and more!

Matinee Brunch

It’s another boozy brunch! Belvedere Vodka will once again build an extraordinary terrace on Peel St., in the heart of the Grand Prix festivities. A perfect setting to feast on a specially catered brunch menu, all while basking in the summer day, and sipping the finest bubbly. Chef Jason Nagy will be on hand shucking the best oysters in the city at the Raw Bar, while mixologists will be crafting the finest summer cocktails.

Sunday night is famous for the annual “Code 20” grand finale sponsored by Heineken (watch for a huge announcement from them on Thursday). This is a $750,000 dollar event with entry only by invite or by table reservation (limited to 60 tables). The event will be held at the beautiful Windsor Station with music by Red Bull Racing team’s official DJ, EROK, and local favourite Thomas H.

Every year, the Auberge Saint-Gabriel hosts the F1 drivers, celebrities
and international stars with a select few who are able to get their hands on an invitation for this coveted closing party. All we can say is expect to see the who’s who here and get ready to call in sick to work the next morning.
