A free outdoor garden party is happening downtown this month
Montreal’s resident urban garden Jardins Gamelin is back for summer 2017!
It has recently been confirmed that Quartier des Spectacles’ Jardins Gamelin is returning this spring for five glorious months.
Jardins Gamelin is known for their rich programme of cultural activities, ranging from film screenings to contemporary dance festivals, which is why we couldn’t be more excited they are back this summer!
Even better, they are hosting a massive outdoor garden party to promote their opening day!
The event will take place on May 19 from 5:30pm until 11pm, likely drawing thousands of Montrealers. The night promises to include dancers, live music, the stunning Janet Echelman sculpture, food trucks, and the unveiling of their newly remodeled gardens.
The best part? The party is 100% free to attend, meaning you have no excuse not to stop by!
