A gourmet food festival is taking over Old Montreal this month

All month long.

The 10th edition of Happening Gourmand, one of Montreal’s best culinary festivals, is kicking off this week.

Beginning on January 5th and running all the way until February 5th, Happening Gourmand brings gourmet food to Montrealers at majorly discounted prices.

The event has partnered with several of the city’s top restaurants and created special table d’hote offerings at reduced prices.

So far there are three meal options: the first for $23, the second for $26, and the third for $30.

Each price point is linked to specific restaurants. For example, $23 will get you a gourmet meal at Vieux-Port Steakhouse or Bevo Bar + Pizzeria, while $30 covers a dining experience at Maggie Oakes or Verses Restaurant.

Other participating restaurants include Suite 701, Taverne Gaspar, Modavie Bistro, Méchant Boeuf, and Kyo Bar Japonais.

Be sure to make your reservations ASAP as spaces are already filling up.

For a little incentive, check out the photos below, all of which are taken from restaurants participating in this year’s edition of Happening Gourmand. Bon appetit!
