Canada just picked up another gold medal at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic games thanks to Calgary speedskater Ted-Jan Bloemen.
Bloemen posted a time of 12 minutes 13:77 seconds in the men’s 10,000-metre race – setting a new Olympic record.
It’s the second medal for Bloemen who was already awarded silver in the 5,000-metre race.

Coming in second, Dutchman Jorrit Bergsma, picked up the silver, while Italy’s Nicolo Tumolero takes home the bronze.
