Run for your life! There’s been a zombie outbreak in Calgary and only the fastest zombie survivalists will make it out alive.
Well, in the Calgary Zombie Evasion 5K that is. The annual zombie run will be invading North Glenmore Park on October 22.

The Zombie Evasion is a chip-timed race full of thrills and theatrics; you can sign up as a survivor or a zombie, if you prefer being undead.
The event is in support of Calgary Food Bank; you can buy extra “health” to slow your inevitable demise at the hands of zombies by donating cash or food.
After that, well, good luck. Given that the zombie apocalypse has disrupted all communications, you will not know the route before you start running.
But beware, zombies will be everywhere, doing everything they can to stop you escaping with your brains intact.
Remember – the first rule of zombieland is cardio.
