Calgary's newest dessert spot will be an ice cream and waffles mecca
Calgary’s Auburn Bay is about to get a whole lot sweeter, because XO Ice Cream & Waffles is gearing up for its spring opening, and we can hardly wait.

This spot – which is sure to be the city’s new dessert destination – is located in the COOP plaza at 808, 100 Auburn Meadows Drive right beside Tim Hortons and the Blackbird Public Urban Bar.
XO has been teasing us with millennial pink packaging and mint decor details of the parlor. The interior is being designed by the one and only McKinley Burkart.
Patrons can expect handcrafted waffles and ice cream in classic and innovative seasonal flavours from this new dessert space.
XO is set to go live in spring 2018 – which means any day now. Waiting for this March opening has us on the edge of our seats.
While we haven’t tried their offerings yet, it’s clear their branding and aesthetic is on point.
