Call all vegans in YYC, as Stampede is right around the corner, we’ve found a unique plant-based pancake breakfast for you to attend.
On Saturday, July 7, the 2nd Annual Vegan Pancake Breakfast will take place at the Bridgeland Riverside Community Association.
The event is hosted by CalgaryVegan, an organization thatĀ aims to help people find great local vegan food.
With intentions to create animal cruelty-free events during Stampede, their first vegan pancake breakfast in 2017 was a massive success and attracted over 1,000 people.
While their full menu is not yet available, you can expect some fresh organic fruits, vegan-friendly pancakes, and also nut-free items offered by the event’s many sponsors.
For gluten-free attendees, there will also be gluten-free pancakes and vegan sausages available.
The event is expecting a massive crowd again this year. There will be tons of vendors and some great home-baked goods on their bake sale list, and proceeds will be used to care for rescued farm animals.
So, join your fellow vegans and chow down at this unique vegan feast (and bring a picnic blanket just in case).
