This Thanksgiving carve-a-deal menu is $275 plus taxes for a 13-pound roast turkey (serves 8 to 10 people) and $425 plus taxes for a 20-pound roast turkey (serves 16 to 20 people). Available from Thursday, October until Monday, October 8, 48 hours notice is required (subject to availability). Reserve through Greens Restaurant at 403-259-1705.
Pickup/Delivery: Pickup times every 30 minutes from noon to 7 pm at Hotel Blackfoot (5940 Blackfoot Trail SE).
Urban Butcher
Get a Thanksgiving turkey from this spot and the hardest part of the dinner is done. These turkeys are raised in free-run, cage-free flocks near Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod, and are only fed a grain and vegetable ration. It’s $3.99 per lb or $8.80 per kg here, and the deadline to order your Thanksgiving turkey is Friday, October 5 at noon. For those looking for a different flavour experience, Smoked Turkeys and Turduckens are also available for purchase at Mission and Willow Park locations.
Pickup/Delivery: Turkeys will be available for pick up October 4, 5, and 6 at Mission (#3, 2100 4 Street SW) and Willow Park (#114, 10816 Macleod Trail SE).
