It can be tricky sticking to the tight budget of being a student, but thankfully there is an easy way to save some cash and cut your spending by taking advantage of the many student discounts that are on offer throughout Canada.

Many businesses, retail stores, and restaurants offer discounts to students with proof of student enrolment (such as a student ID), which can turn into huge savings.

Students can also sign up for an ISIC Canada Card for $20 annual membership, or an SPC Card for $10 annual membership – both offering discounts at participating locations.
