There's a huge FREE party you can check out during Sled Island

Even if you didn’t quite have the cash to grab the Sled Island Discovery Pass this year, you’ll still be able to enjoy some live, local music and one of Calgary’s favourite festivals.

Sled Island is set to host their annual, outdoor, all-ages block party this Saturday, and the big kicker is that the show is entirely free to attend.

The party will run from 2 to 10 pm, rain or shine, near the intersection of 10th Avenue and 10th Street SE in Calgary’s Inglewood neighbourhood.

Some of the local performers that Sled Island will have on stage will include Will Clarke, Harrison Brome, josh pan, Carissa Gem, Dillon Nathaniel, Magic & Johnson, Selci, BB Mars, B*les & The Suede, Strangefamiliar, and Symfan.

Steam Whistle will be on scene with a beer garden to parch dancers’ thirsts, along with a line up of food trucks, vintage clothing from Market Collective, and merch from some of your favourite bands.

It’s all been planned for this Saturday; you just need to show up!
