If you didn’t make it to the Bowden SunMaze this season it looks like you might have missed out this year, and you can blame the snow for that.

This sunflower maze, which is located in central Alberta in the Certified Organic fields of Eagle Creek Farms, is having to close off for the season.

The farm posted on Instagram today saying that the flowers may not make it due to the snow and -3°C temperatures. The caption stated that they are quite sure they won’t pull through the cold snap with their petals intact, putting an end to the sunflower bloom.

But don’t fret! Their larger corn maze is still standing strong and unaffected by the weather, and they still have a bunch of carrots and beets for pickup that are all organically grown.
