ReggaeFest brings sounds of Caribbean to Calgary this August

ReggaeFest 2016 will bring laid back rhythms and island spices to Calgary this August.

The music festival, which will take place on August 19 and 20 at Shaw Millennium Park, aims to promote reggae music and Caribbean culture.

The main stage will feature performances from local, national and international reggae stars, including Juno-award winning Kafinal, plus Warrior King and Razor B.

Other attractions include a Village Brewery beer garden, food trucks, and on Saturday afternoon, there’ll be a Kidz Zone, offering face painting, crafts and games.

Advance tickets are $30 for a weekend pass, $15 for Friday, and $25 for Saturday.
