MEOW Foundation is moving but needs your help to cover renovation costs

After 17 years in their current home, the MEOW foundation is moving to a new location.

Calgary’s first, feline-only focused adoption centre will open its door on July 31 in the city’s northeast.

To help facilitate MEOW’s move organizers are asking for renovation donations.

“MEOW Foundation heavily relies on public donations, grants and fundraising activities to help Calgary’s homeless cats and match them with loving families,” said MEOW Foundation’s Director of Operations, Debbie Nelson in a release.

“We’re entirely grateful for the incredible generosity of our original landlord, our volunteers, and supporters and everyone who has helped MEOW establish a sound future for all cats in Calgary. The MEOW team is tirelessly fundraising to renovate our new location but we need more help to prepare it for occupancy.”
