Edmonton Oilers owner puts Vancouver penthouse on market for $38 million (PHOTOS)

If you have some spare change laying around the house that happens to add up to $38 million, you could soon find yourself in the past home of an NHL hockey team owner.

Daryl Katz, owner of the Edmonton Oilers, has just listed his stunning Vancouver penthouse at $38 million – hardly the billionaire’s most valuable asset, as the team itself comes in at a $520 million, according to the most recent assessment made by Forbes.

Even so, it’s still a pretty penny to snag the penthouse sitting atop Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, and photos of the place will show you exactly why.

With four and a half bathrooms, four bedrooms, and a total of 6,652 square feet, the penthouse is larger than most houses – especially compared to those in the Vancouver area.

Katz himself is valued at around $4 billion, making him the 19th richest person in Canada, and the 693rd richest world-wide.
