China has had it with Justin Bieber’s attitude, and is expressing its feelings publicly.

The Asian nation is clearly missing on the Beib’s upcoming global tour this fall, which stops in Japan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

In an attempt to understand why the Canadian global sensation isn’t making a Chinese tour stop, a fan wrote to Beijing’s Culture Bureau.

A user by the name of He Wenrui told the Cultural organization that Bieber has “won many awards” and has talent, and asked for a “detailed explanation” as to why he’s not allowed to perform.

Surprisingly (we think so anyway), the Bureau of Culture responded.

“Justin Bieber is a singing talented but also a controversial young foreign singer,” said the Bureau, as per the translation. “It is understood that as a public figure, he had a series of bad behaviour in the overseas social life and in the domestic performance activities caused public dissatisfaction.”

The Bureau’s statement continued to say that they hope Beibs is “in the process of growing up” to truly become a favoured public singer.

And he’s really trying, China.

Last month, the Ontario native showed off his inspirational new ink proving just that.

“I look back at a lot of things in my life, mistakes, insecurities, and although I have felt I’ve wasted a lot of time it also makes me want to be better faster. For me personally I want to work everyday to be BETTER AT 70,” he wrote in a post. He even left you the stencil incase you want the same one (See how nice he is, China?)

And to really prove he’s trying, perhaps just for China, the “Sorry” singer posted his mugshot, using the hashtag “Never again.”

So, while he’s not allowed to play in China this time around, maybe these new posts will help him get back into the country… despacito.
