Get ready to show off your true colours as Calgary Pride hits the city on August 26.
For 11 days, Calgary will be filled with events to show solidarity with the LGBTQ community and promote equality and celebrate diversity.
Several events are planned for this year, including parties, comedy, cabaret shows, sing-alongs, a black tie affair, and, of course, the one event everyone waits for: the Pride Parade on September 4.

The Calgary Pride Parade is described by the Pride Society as the most one of the most colourful celebrations of the year. With 125 parade entries from various organizations and 60,000 spectators, it would seem Calgary is set to get into party mode.
This years’ Pride Parade Grand Marshal is singer/songwriter Rae Spoon, hailed as one of the best in Canada.
Following the parade are several events, including Pride In The Park, a post-parade barbecue, and a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
