This year’s Calgary Home + Design Show is just around the corner – but with such an amazing lineup of activities you might be wondering what you should see.

Taking place from September 22 to 25 at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park, visitors can do everything from trying their hand in creative workshops to sitting back and watching TV stars on stage.

To help you figure out what to see this year we’ve compiled a list of the top five things you should check out, a little cheat sheet so you don’t miss out on any must-sees.

Watch all your favourite home design experts from TV in person as part of a rare opportunity at the Trail Appliances Main Stage. Todd Talbot from Love It or List It Vancouver is real estate savvy, has a keen sense of style, and quick wit, all of which you’ll witness live in person. Rob Evans from The Expandables is a design-trained contractor and now a specialist in renovating residential properties – he’ll share information about rebuilding, furniture designs, and construction. Check out this full list of TV stars slated to speak on stage at the Calgary Home + Design Show. The main stage is located in Hall D.

Watch it all on the Trail Appliances cooking stage, located in Hall D.

Food truck/Calgary Home + Design Show

Presented by YYC food trucks, the Food Truck Eatery will bring Calgary’s favourite driving diners together so you can try some tasty menu items all in one place. Located outside the south entrance to the BMO Centre, you’ll have trouble choosing so be ready to check it out more than once. You’ll find it located it Hall A and outside of Hall B.

Wood Caddy/Feathering My Nest

This year’s Calgary Home + Design Show workshop series is guaranteed to give you some inspiration for your own home and design projects. Calgary’s favourite DIY blogger Lacey Haskell of Feathering My Nest will lead many of the workshops, showing you how to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Check out her FAT Paint Workshops, the first one taking place on September 22. You’ll learn how to use techniques for using the great Canadian FAT Paint, inspiring you to try your own projects at home.
