12 photos of this year's Calgary Expo POW! Parade of Wonders

The seventh annual POW! Parade of Wonders took to Calgary’s streets this morning, and it was a seriously hard event to miss.

With comic book, movie, video game, and TV show fans flooding the streets in iconic cosplay costumes, anyone around downtown was sure to see at least a few superheroes making their way to Stephen Avenue for the 10:30 am start.

The parade officially kicked off a weekend full of fun at the 2019 Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, an event running from Thursday to Sunday at Calgary’s own Stampede Corral.

With celebrities to see, panels to attend, and an entire market of fantastic finds to purchase, the Expo is not something you want to miss out on.

Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo 2019

When: Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 28, 2019

Time: Thursday: 4 to 9 pm, Friday: Noon to 8 pm, Saturday: 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm

Where: Stampede Corral — Saddledome Rise SE, Calgary
