Calgary Fringe 2019 Lottery Draw

What: Grab a front-row seat as Calgary Fringe holds their 2019 lottery draw at Village Brewery, hosted by The Kinkonauts. Each artist drawn receives a spot in the 2019 Calgary Fringe Festival, along with more than $8,000 in infrastructure support, including technicians, lighting and staging. Doors open at 6:30 pm, draw kicks off at 7 pm Stick around afterward to grab a beer with fellow theatre folks and the Calgary Fringe team.

Ciné-Débat

What: Discover “Au revoir là-haut”, an amazing French dramatic comedy by Albert Dupontel adapted from Pierre Lemaître’s masterpiece. You will dive into a very unique atmosphere, between grotesque and beauty. This movie is the adaptation of Pierre Lemaître’s novel, winner of the prix Goncourt in 2013. Movie in French with English subtitles.

University of Calgary Students’ Union StressLess Week 2018

What: The University of Calgary Students’ Union has put together a whole host of events to help students reduce stress. Pet Therapy, yoga, cookie decorating and more.

What: Join The Calgary Chamber of Commerce for the third event in their Inspire: Leadership series as Ray Price, President, Sunterra, shares Sunterra’s story on global growth while continuing to support the local Calgary community. Following Ray’s presentation, Katherine Emberly, President, Business, Brand and Communications at Shaw Communications, will sit down with Ray to further the conversation and talk about business issues facing all industries.
