Heaping cups of edible cookie dough are coming to Calgary
First there was Family Squeezed Lemonade, then, there was Family Freezed Gourmet Ice Pops and Beavers Balls Gourmet Doughnut Holes, now, there’s something that rivals all these treats in the competitive world of dessert-ing.
Three words: epic cookie dough.
Cookie Dough YYC will start scooping on Friday, February 24 at the Family Squeezed stall in CrossIron Mills, and if Instagram tells us anything, this is going to be one amazing offering.
Dough-addicts can expect heaping 6oz cups of cookie dough made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour in four epic flavours for Friday’s launch. These varieties include:
- Classic Chocolate Chip
- Sparkly Sugar Cookie
- Chocolate Chunk Brownie Batter
- Peanut Butter Cup
All doughs come with toppings and a spoon – it will be $6 worth of pure bliss.
The Cookie Dough YYC team told Daily Hive that in the future, customers can look forward to a rotating selection of over 18 varieties of doughs, including flavours like Snickerdoodle, Red Velvet, Sweet & Salty, Pumpkin, and Butterscotch.
The expert treat-makers also have future plans for vegan and gluten free varieties, along with a custom-batter option where people can get creative with their own blends.
The Family Squeezed team is aiming to have their edible dough available in their food trucks in the coming seasons as well, so keep and eye out and make sure you’re rolling in this delicious dough when you have the chance.
Family Squeezed Lemonade Stand is open in CrossIron Mills Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
