Bungee Workout Canada is now open in Calgary (VIDEO)

Calgary’s very own bungee workout centre has opened its doors this month, with classes going for $35 a pop.

Instead of the usual treadmill grind or weight-lifting monotony of a regular gym, Bungee Workout Canada straps attendees into bungee cords suspended from the ceiling and has them bouncing all around the room.

The style originated in Thailand, and while there have been bungee workout centres opened in the US, Calgary’s is the first one to open in Canada.

Bungee Workout Canada’s Facebook page has posted some videos of their classes since opening, and it looks a bit more fun than half an hour on the Stairmaster, but we’ll let you decide that for yourself.
