Just in time for the office Christmas party.

Thanks to the launch of a new online application on the Alberta Games and Liquor Commission’s (AGLC) website, Albertans can now apply and pay for a Special Event Liquor License from wherever there’s solid enough wifi.

While those applying for the license would had to have purchased a paper-issued license from an Alberta liquor retail location in the past, now all they need to do is fill out a form at aglc.ca.

“The new online application is another way the AGLC is improving the delivery of services and products to Albertans,” said Alain Maisonneuve, acting president and CEO of the AGLC, in a release.

“This is particularly exciting to us as we continue to modernize our business.”

This makes it just one less step towards partying it up this December, and we can all get on board with that.
