Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation needs your used Christmas trees

Jan 6 2017, 7:31 am

Real trees help provide a natural habitat to the patients in the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation’s care and thus your used Christmas trees can have a new home.

Drop off your tree at AIWC from 1 to 4pm and enjoy some hot chocolate and sweet treats, accompanied by a guided tour of the facility.

The suggested donation of $10 is requested to help provide funds for the AIWC’s wildlife patients in 2017. As a registered charity, AIWC relies on charitable donations and dedicated volunteers to support the more than 1,800 varied animals in need of care every year.

Where: Township Road 282 and Range Road 30, Madden, AB
When: Sunday, January 8 from 1 to 4pm
Tours: 1:30pm and 2:30pm only
