YVR Food Fest's Canada Day Cookout announces exciting music lineup
If your plans are to keep it local this Canada Day, there might be no better way to rock the nation’s 150th than with YVR Food Fest‘s Canada Day Cookout. The all-new event has just announced the exciting live music lineup for the July 1 epic outdoor BBQ party.
Taking place in Olympic Village, Arrival Agency’s Canada Day Cookout is part of this year’s expanded YVR Food Fest programming, and will offer Vancouver a great gathering place to celebrate Canada 150 on July 1.
The musical lineup includes Light Organ Records singer-songwriter Jessicka, Mint Records pop-punk artists Supermoon, dream pop group Jody Glenham and the Dreamers, new wave act Gang Signs, indie pop band Leisure Club, and 10-piece afrobeat outfit Camaro 67. Providing music between sets will be local cub favourites the Common People DJs.
Of course, you’ll want to take note of the incredible food and drink line up, which will showcase the perfect pairings of BBQ staples with local craft beer and beverages.
