Vancouver's Royal Dinette announces permanent closure

Mar 17 2020, 12:43 am

As we adjust to the new normal in the food and beverage scene in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect to see some temporary closures.

Many restaurants in Vancouver have already elected to close for a time, but one downtown establishment just announced it has closed up shop for good.

Royal Dinette, located at 905 Dunsmuir St 1st Floor in Vancouver, made the announcement today via social media.

Known for its Pacific Northwest menu and excellent cocktails, Royal Dinette has been open four and a half years.

Owners released the news with a message of thanks.

For the last 4 1/2 years, we’ve been able to bring farm to table food, craft cocktails, natural wine & hospitality to the financial district of Vancouver. With a heavy heart, we have decided to close our doors permanently.

We would like to thank all of our local providers & producers for allowing us to showcase the bounty that BC has to offer. We would also like to thank all of our staff past & present. Lastly, we would like to thank all of our regulars for coming in time & time again, I think we’ll miss you the most.

And with that we say goodbye 👋🏼 much love, Royal Dinette.
