Vancouver could see more snow fall this week starting Wednesday

After a bout with the white stuff over the weekend, it looks like the snow will again fall in Vancouver before this week is over.

And while Monday has brought sunshine and blue skies (albeit along with cold temperatures), which will carry over into Tuesday, the snow is forecasted to start falling again on Wednesday.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures throughout the week are going to be on the chilly side of things as well.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to only climb as high as 3°C, while temperatures during the night time hours will dip all the way down to –6°C. However, factor in the windchill and those overnight temperatures will feel more like –10°C.

So if you thought we were out of the woods when it came to winter weather in Vancouver, it might be time to reassess your plan and keep your jackets, toques and mitts close at hand for a little while longer.

Yes, after what some might say was a late arrival, it seems Old Man Winter isn’t ready to leave the West Coast just yet.
