18 photos and videos of Metro Vancouver's chaotic flooding

Last night, a sudden and chaotic blast of rainfall brought localized flooding and deteriorating conditions to Metro Vancouver.

A number of streets were swallowed in water, leaving cars stalled, stranded, and abandoned across the downtown core.

The torrential downpour caused the Vancouver Police to close down 2nd Avenue between the Cambie Street Bridge and Main Street.
