Vancouver 2010 Paralympics Anniversary Cauldron Relighting

What: BC Pavilion Corporation and the Vancouver Convention Centre are holding a public ceremony at Jack Poole Plaza in downtown Vancouver on the afternoon of this Thursday, March 12. The Olympic Cauldron will be relit, and there will be public speakers from the provincial government and the Canadian Paralympic Committee. As well, ‘O Canada’ and ‘I Believe’ will be performed by 16-year-old local artist Elizabeth Irving.

Designer Fashion Outlet Sale

What: Designer Fashion Outlet is hosting its first-ever pop-up event at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport, located at 7311 Westminster Highway. The pop-up is discounting up to 80 per cent off top-tier brands like Balenciaga, Moncler, Balmain, Gucci, Fendi, Off-White, Valentino, Givenchy, and Moschino. It has unique one-of-a-kind pieces that can’t be found anywhere else in Canada.

It is recommend that shoppers arrive early on the first day, as inventory won’t be restocked and a full selection will be available that day. There is a mandatory coat check for any jackets, large sweaters, bags, backpacks, and strollers. Payment methods accepted include credit cards, debit, cash, and wepay.

Recently, My Dad Wrote a Porno won a Webby Award for Best Comedy Podcast 2019, as well as being named Podcast Champions at this year’s British Podcast Awards for outstanding contribution to British podcasting. The show has also won a European Lovie Award and Team Porno was listed on The Progress 1000 — London’s most influential people of 2018.
