Us foodies love a good debate.
Is a hot dog a sandwich? Is it appropriate to bite into a burrito from the side?
Most recently, the newest holiday drink at Starbucks has sparked a heated debate. Not unlike Tim Hortons’ recent Belgian Waffle Breakfast Sandwich, the new offering is getting mixed reviews
As always, there are some seriously savage reviews being posted online, along with some positive ones too.

Apparently Starbucks controls the weather now. First real snow, first holiday drink but dang that juniper latte 👌👌. It’s like Seattle in a cup #starbucks #redcups #juniperlatte… https://t.co/NHSDiDRMhQ

Some people have been cautiously optimistic about the new nature-centric concoction, but others are clearly not into the festive new beverage.
Also, since we’re here. #juniperlatte …Juniper is for gin and olives. 🤮

@StarbucksCanada I’m very sad this morning. Was so excited to get my first #HolidaySpiceFlatWhite of the season to find out it’s discontinued 😭. Please bring it back! The #JuniperLatte doesn’t work for me. #AndIDidntReceiveTheReusableCup

But that’s not to say that some people aren’t completely loving it, either. It’s clearly much-loved by some, one person described it as a drink that transported them “into a forest of Christmas trees with the nice woody aroma and the sweetness of the festive season.”
Well OK then.
I just tried Starbucks’ Juniper Latte. It’s Christmas in a cup with a citrusy zing. In love. My new happiness elixir. ❤️ #starbucks #juniperlatte @StarbucksCanada
