New York-based SoulCycle to open Vancouver location

Spin classes in Vancouver are about to get a little more soulful.

SoulCycle, the New York-based indoor cycling studio, will be opening a Vancouver location in 2017.

According to the SoulCycle website, the new location will be in Yaletown, but an official opening date was not provided.

SoulCycle has been the trendsetter of the spin world. The sessions are set in the dark to high energy music as riders are guided “through an inspirational, meditative experience that’s designed to benefit the body, mind, and soul.”

SoulCycle first opened in New York’s Upper West Side in 2006. It has since opened 85 locations in the US and was acquired by Equinox Fitness in 2011.
