This is how you could win $3,000 worth of prizes (for exploring Vancouver)

Spring is here and there’s never been a better time to get outside and explore.

In fact, Vancouver’s new real-world adventure game, GEO Vancouver, is inviting you to join the coolest scavenger hunt of the season where completing missions allows you to submit more entries to a contest, with fabulous prizes as your reward.

We’ve partnered with GEO Vancouver to create the ultimate Daily Hive-themed scavenger hunt that you can play with a group of friends for the chance to win some awesome prizes.

This will be a one-time event exclusive to GEO Vancouver, so you really don’t want to miss out. Follow Daily Hive on Instagram to get hints and tips that will help you discover hidden locations across the city.

How to play

There will be five scavenger hunt locations throughout downtown Vancouver, and you’ll need to take a photo of yourself at each one with your GEO Token.

Because GEO Vancouver knows that scavenger hunts are better done as a group, they’re giving each member of your group two additional entries to the contest below. (Note: you need two or more members to form a team)

If you’re competing as a group, simply come up with a team name, enter this name when you sign-up, and have every member who submits his or her entry refer to it.

Once you’re ready, submit your photos to [email protected] using the e-mail you signed up with and also your team name. The hunt ends on April 24.

Prizes up for grabs

The winner of the scavenger hunt will be able to take their scavenger hunt talents elsewhere with the following prize package, courtesy of GEO Vancouver:

• $1,500 Air Canada gift card
• $1,000 in cash
• $500 MEC gift card

Note: While there is a team component to this mission, the prize will be awarded to an individual, not the team.
