If you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit this month, look no further than an annual event being hosted by the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret at the end of October.

Taking place on Saturday, October 28, the Cabaret’s annual Parade of Lost Souls features the most performance minded spirits, spectres, and ghouls in Vancouver

One of the most anticipated events of the Halloween season the event features jugglers, actors, singers, musicians, acrobats, and more, the Parade serves as an inclusive celebration of the arts.

Over 10,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event, which begins at 7 pm.

“We share this landscape with creatures of all sort, both the animal kingdom of our wild west coast, and the fantastical creatures we’ve seen in our stories and our dreams,” reads the event description.

“Let the creatures of story and dreams come alive…perform a wild feat. Bring a wild invention. Dress up as your favourite local species. Parade your inner animal through the streets!”

The exact location of this year’s parade is still under wraps, with the event only saying that it will take place in the “Commercial Drive area.” The exact location is typically revealed just before the event.
