The latest forecast shows rain every day through Sunday, although there may be some relief on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday when there will only be “periods of rain.”

Daytime temperatures are forecast to stay around the 8°C mark, with nighttime temperatures around 5°C, until a drop to 1°C on Friday then freezing on Saturday night.

That drop in temperature overnight could bring snow flurries according to Environment Canada, but the rain is then set to return with 8°C temperatures on Sunday morning.

Despite the low temperatures, there is a little ray of hope. The Weather Network is predicting some sunshine in between showers on Tuesday.

And Accuweather predicts much the same, offer forecasting the sun peeking out from behind the clouds on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Temperatures are definitely below the average, according to Accuweather, and significantly lower than this time last year, when we basked in a balmy 12°C.
