Marriage Proposal plowed into Ladner Field

For the past 10 years, Gio Sandher has wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Christa Baumgartner. Yesterday, he finally did in one of the more elaborate marriage proposals to take place in the Lower Mainlaind.

The proposal involved a helicopter ride, a farm field in Ladner and the help of a friend to film it all.

Of course, Sandher couldn’t just plow any field. He spoke with Sharon Ellis, the owner of Westham Island Herb Farm in Ladner. Ellis loved the idea and allowed him to use her wheat field. Once she was on board, all the pieces fell into place in this fairy tale wedding proposal.

Plowed into a Ladner field were the words, “Christa will you marry me?” She said yes.

Sandher has served notice to the rest of the men out there to up their game. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple.
