Doodle Classroom - A Pop-Up Art Installation at Metropolis at Metrotown

Metropolis at Metrotown Is celebrating the back-to-school season with an interactive Doodle Classroom pop-up — think group colouring projects on a large scale – designed by Vancouver artist Tierney Milne. Running from August 15 through September 5, the installation provides an opportunity for everyone to contribute to the artwork, and a chance to win 1 of 5 shopping sprees, all while raising funds for children in need across Burnaby. Visitors will be immersed in a 950-square-foot classroom-inspired environment where they can use markers to add their own colour and personality to the illustrated vinyl walls that cover the entire structure. For every visitor to the Doodle Classrooms, $5 will be donated to the Breakfast Club of Canada (for a maximum donation of $10,000) to help give all children access to a healthy breakfast to fuel their learning. At Metropolis at Metrotown, the Doodle Classroom is located on the Lower Level in Grand Court. Visitors to Metropolis at Metrotown are invited to share their Doodle Classroom experience on social media, tagging @metropolisatmet and using the hashtag #DoodleClassroomMET.
