Herschel Supply Gastown to gift carry-on luggage to first 200 visitors at grand opening this Saturday

Vancouver-based lifestyle brand Herschel Supply is opening its first North American flagship store in Gastown this weekend.

On Saturday, June 16, you’re invited to visit 347 Water Street to check out the brand new 5,000 sq. ft. space which boasts an incredible product range and striking design features that reflect the brand and its hometown here in Vancouver.

The store boasts the largest selection of product outside the brand’s website from bags to accessories, luggage, apparel, and more. Plus, if you’re one of the first 200 through the door you’ll get a free piece of Herschel Supply carry-on hardshell luggage.

The store was designed by the creative director of Bocci, Omer Arbel, who’s well known for his stunning architecture and industrial design projects. And Herschel Supply Gastown actually marks Arbel’s first venture into retail design.

As soon as you enter the store you’ll be welcomed by a family of figurative sculptures commissioned from various artists across the Lower Mainland. Meanwhile, large windows at the back of the store frame beautiful views of the North Shore mountains and rail yards in Gastown.

The store also has an amazing heritage feel as key aspects of the building have been preserved such as the original maple flooring, brickwork, and ceiling tiles. The changing rooms are also formed by floor-to-ceiling marble slabs.
