FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
The spookiest day of the year is rapidly approaching, which means Vancouver’s annual Halloween Parade and Expo is coming back in October.
Organized by the Vancouver International Halloween Festival Society, the expo and parade features dance, music, performances, and other visual arts based in fantasy to get families excited about Halloween. Cosplay is encouraged, as are any other fantasy-based costumes.
As it is a family-friendly event, there are some rules for costumes that people need to abide by:
- No blood or gore
- No hateful costumes
- No firecrackers or explosives
- No metal weapons or sharp objects – plastic or wood only
- No replica guns
- No nudity or adult material
The Halloween Expo is happening Thursday, October 13 to Sunday, October 16, with the parade wrapping up the event on the last day.
