Grouse Mountain got its first dusting of snow today (PHOTOS)

So it begins.

On a day that has seen a wild mix of weather across Metro Vancouver, it appears Grouse Mountain is getting in on the action as well – and likely getting skiers and snowboarders stoked at the same time.

Yes, the popular North Shore mountain got its first snowfall today. That is more than a month earlier than last year’s first dusting on November 15, 2016.

Grouse, along with the two other North Shore Mountains, Cypress and Seymour, typically opens to the public for skiing and riding in early-December.

So it remains to be seen if this snow will stick around or if it’s just serving as a teaser for the upcoming season.

In the meantime, check out these photos of today’ snow at Grouse on social media.
