You can help make the largest maple leaf ever for a Guinness World Record

Grouse Mountain’s known for a slew of fun activities – but this year, it’s doing something extra special in the spirit of Canada’s 150th birthday.

And by that we mean that you and your friends will have the chance to participate in a Guinness World Record attempt. The goal is for you and 999 other people to attempt to make the largest human maple leaf ever, and it’s happening on July 1 at The Cut, which is located on Grouse Mountain.

The requirements? Just show up on time and make sure you wear a red top of some kind – you know, going with the theme of a maple leaf and all. As an added bonus, there will be lots of prizes to win. Check out the following event details so you don’t miss out.

The Grouse Mountain Guinness World Book of Records attempt

When: July 1, 1 pm sharp
Where: The Cut, mountaintop at Grouse Mountain
What to wear: Red! You must have a red top of some kind
