Glen Grant, one of the world’s top Scotch single malt distilleries in the world, is giving whisky connoisseurs to chance to get a seriously exceptional bottle of the good stuff next month.
The rare edition of their single malt whisky, the Glen Grant 50 Year Old, has a limited run of 150 bottles and one BC Liquor Store will be receiving a single bottle to sell for a whopping $15,500.

The design of the whisky’s decanter is a replica of Glen Grant’s pot stills, an original creation from the whisky’s innovator, James ‘The Major’ Grant.
Presented in a handblown glass decanter made by Glencairn Crystal (the last family-owned crystal glass company in Scotland), the bottle is marked with the number ’50’ in 18-carat gold lettering to finish.
This bottle will not be available for direct purchase but will be available in a lottery draw, so consumers can enter the draw for the chance to purchase at any of our 31 participating BCLS locations on November 3.
If $15,500 is out of your price range, there will also be two bottles of the “ultra-luxurious” Grand Marnier Quintessence coming to the same BC Liquor Store in Vancouver.
These bottles will ring in at a cool $1,050 plus taxes on November 3 at the BC Liquor Store at 39th and Cambie.
