Fan Expo Vancouver 2017 welcomes original Power Rangers in November

Two of the original Power Rangers, X-Men actor Famke Janssen, and the Fonz are coming to Vancouver for this year’s Fan Expo in November.

The celebration of comics, sci-fi, and gaming will take place from Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Among the celebrities attending will be actor and martial artist Austin St. John, who played Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Joining him will be actor and producer David Yost, who played Billy Cranston, the Blue Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Other guests include actor, director, and screenwriter Famke Janssen, who played Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye, and Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men film series.

Henry Winkler, the actor, director, comedian, producer and author best known for playing Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli in Happy Days, will also be there.

These headliners will be accompanied by four of the stars of Degrassi Junior High, two stars of Bones, with many more special guests yet to be announced.

Fans can expect Q&A actor and writer panels, and professional photo-ops and autographs from many of these with celebrity guests.

As usual, everyone is invited to don their best cosplay outfits – although be careful to read this policy on swords, guns, and “other melee weapons.”

In the Exhibit Hall, you’ll be able to check out the latest fandom products from major companies, and in Retailers Hall, you’ll be able to stock up yourself.

Meanwhile, you’ll also be able to attend workshops and seminars, explore artist alley of “pencillers, inkers and writers,” and watch sketch duels.

Overall, Fan Expo Vancouver will take place over more than 250,000 sq. ft., and more than 30,000 pop culture fans are expected.
