Expo Line service shut down in New Westminster due to flooding

Dec 12 2018, 6:28 am

TransLink’s Expo Line SkyTrain is experiencing a service disruption due to the heavy rainfall and flooding.

Currently, there is no SkyTrain service operating through Columbia Station.

Crews are working hard to restore full service but in the meantime, a bus bridge has been set up between New Westminster Station and Braid Station.

A second bus bridge has also been set up from New Westminster Station and Scott Road.

The Millennium Line and Canada Line are both unaffected.

Further updates will be provided as they’re made available.

The torrential rainfall has caused a number of delays and travel issues across the Lower Mainland. High winds have cancelled several BC Ferries sailings and localized flooding is trapping cars on Vancouver streets.
