Ex-husband suspected in murder of woman in Burnaby

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is on the hunt for the ex-husband of a woman who was found dead in a Burnaby business on Wednesday evening.

Hee Sook Youn was found in the washroom of the business in the 4500 block of North Road, and while an autopsy needs to be conducted to determine the cause of death of the 59-year-old woman, police believe she’s the victim of a targeted murder.

Now IHIT and the Burnaby RCMP are looking for Hee Sook’s ex-husband, whom they believe to be a suspect in her murder.

Sixty-year-old Maple Ridge resident Youngku Youn is described as 5’7″ tall, 143 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

If you know of Youn’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
