The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC presents Laurie Anderson: All the Things I Lost in the Flood, a sold-out presentation of the Beyond Words series April 23, 2018 at 8pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. In this limited engagement in celebration of her new book, Anderson will incorporate spoken word, video, live music and electronics in intimate performance with commentary on some of her most iconic works. Considered one of America’s most prolific avant-garde multimedia artists, Anderson has over her 40-year career recorded seven studio albums (including famed track O’ Superman), penned six books, and directed/co-directed five film projects, including 2015’s Heart of a Dog. For audiences who will miss this performance, tickets are still available for the film screening of Heart of a Dog, April 12, 2018, 7pm @ The Cinematheque (1131 Howe St).
