Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at these Vancouver restaurants
Cinco de Mayo is almost upon us Vancouver, and this year it’s on a Saturday – which means we can indulge in even more celebrating than we have in previous years.
While you can always head to your favourite Mexican spots in the city to indulge in their much-loved cuisine and spiked beverages, there are a few places offering one-day-only specials on May 5 that are worth checking out.

The Compound
The Compound is celebrating may 5 with shots of tequila for $3 and margaritas for $4. They will also be serving up barbacoa beef tacos served in single or share plates for the evening.

Tacofino
Tacofino is offering $8 margaritas at all of their locations for the entire day on May 5. Tacofino Gastown will also be having live entertainment provided by Las Estrellas de Vancouver (Vancouver’s only all-female Mariachi Band), who will be performing from noon to 1 pm and again from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
